"I SHOULD'VE STAYED HOME" Mads complained as she helped Steve and Dustin unload buckets full of raw meat.
"Dustin! This is Lucas. Do you copy? Dustin?" Dustin's walkie-talkie went off
"Well, well, well, look who it is" Dustin said "Sorry, man, my stupid sister turned it off" The other boy apologized
"Well, when you were having sister problems, Dart grew again, he escaped, and I'm pretty sure he's a baby Demogorgen" Dustin explained
"Hey, remember our conversation about that? I haven't stopped thinking about that Demogorgen ever since" Steve spoke "I'm sorry?" Mads asked, she didn't remember having a conversation with Steve until now
"At Tina's party" Steve reminded her "Bullshit boy, ring any bells?" He asked "Bullshit boy?" Mads giggled at the name "Yes, why are you laughing? you gave me that name" Steve giggled along with her
"I wish I was sober enough to remember that" Mads continued to laugh
"Yeah, whatever, let's go" Steve said, trying not to laugh "Lead the way, Bullshit boy" Maddie smiled, Steve shook his head before walking ahead of Maddie
"I shouldn't have reminded you of that" He smiled "Oh, but I'm so glad you did" Mads giggled once more

The trio's been walking for quite awhile now, dropping meat as they walked
It was pretty quiet for the most part, until Steve struck a conversation
"All right, so let me get this straight" Steve started "You kept something you knew was probably dangerous in order to impress a girl?" Steve asked "...Who you just met?" He added
"All right, that's grossly simplifying things" Dustin said "I mean, why would a girl like some nasty slug anyway?" Steve asked
"Am interdimensional slug? Because it's awesome" Dustin answered with a smile
"Well, even if she thought it was cool, which she didn't, I... I just...I don't know, I just feel like you're trying way too hard" Steve said
"Well, not everyone can have your perfect hair, all right?" Dustin said "It's not about the hair, man" Steve said
"The key with girls is just... just acting like you don't care" Steve said "Whoa, whoa, whoa" Mads turned to the two boys behind her "That is not the key, Harrington" She said
"Oh, yeah?" Steve asked Mads who just nodded "Acting like you don't care is one of the biggest turn offs in girl world" Maddie said
"No, you need to act like you don't care" Steve told Dustin "Even if you do?" Dustin asked "Yeah, exactly. It drives them nuts" Steve said
"Drive them nuts enough to dump you" Maddie said "So what do I do?" Dustin asked Maddie "Yeah, what does he do then?" Steve asked, hand over his hip
"You show her that you care, that you're willing to be with her" Maddie said "If you show her that, she'll fall head over heels for you" She added as she walked, imagining what it would be like for someone to treat her like that
"Acting like you don't care will let her know you're an asshole" She continued "Girls want someone who'll protect them, help them mentally and most times physically" She smirked at the last part
"Not someone who doesn't give a shit" She added
"This girl is special" Dustin told Maddie and Steve
"You know, it's just, like, something about her" Dustin added "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, hey, hey" Steve stopped Dustin
"What?" Dustin asked "You're not falling in love with this girl, are you?" Steve asked "No" Dustin quickly responded
"Okay, good, don't" Steve said "I won't" Dustin said
"She's only gonna break your heart and you're way too young for that shit" Steve said "It's not a guarantee she's gonna break your heart, Dustin" Mads spoke, still ahead of the two boys
"Fabergé" Steve spoke
"What?" Dustin asked
Steve just pointed to his hair "It's Fabergé Organics" He said
"Use the shampoo and conditioner, and when your hair's damp... it's not wet, okay? When it's damp..." Steve started
"Damp" Dustin repeated
"You do four puffs of the Farrah Fawcett spray" Steve revealed
"Farrah Fawcett spray?" Both Dustin and Maddie smiled
"Yeah, Farrah Fawcett" Steve said "Tell anyone I just told you guys that and your ass is grass" Steve told Dustin
"Stop threatening a child" Maddie told Steve, Steve looked at Maddie before dropping another piece of meat and continuing the walk
"Farrah Fawcett, really?" Mads laughed "I mean, she's hot" Steve said "Yeah" Dustin agreed
